Resource Orchestration and Supply Chain Resilience under Climate Disruptions: A Systematic Literature Review Approach
Abstract
Climate disruptions are affecting global supply chain, compelling firms to realign, re-bundle and re-orchestrate resources and capabilities. Although supply chain Resilience (SCR) have achieved an increasing momentum in relevant body of knowledge, some fragmented theoretical synthesis still persist. This paper systematically review literature on resource orchestration and supply chain resilience under climate disruptions. Based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 framework, authors analyzed 21 publications from Scopus and Web of Science Index Journals. Our research synthesises how an organizations orchestrate and leverage their resources under climate disruptions. This research found that internal dynamic sensing, reconfiguration and bundling capabilities, are significantly related to supply chain resilience. A conceptual framework linking resource orchestration and supply chain resilience under climate disruption is proposed. Authors recommended nine propositions for empirical testing. The study informs supply chain managers, logistics strategists, policymakers and logistics leaders on effective approach for building climate change resilience system.
